Sunday June 12, 2005, 81 km (50 miles) – Total so far: 4,383 km (2,723 miles)
In the space of a couple of days, we’ve seen the River Inn go from being a mighty river to little more than a large stream. Tomorrow we head up into the mountains to St Anton so we will go our separate ways. But we will be joining up with another famous waterway in Lichtenstein – The Rhein.
We stopped for a nice but expensive lunch today in a little town called Loures before riding up a spectacular valley to Landeck. Our campsite this evening is a ‘sports’ site, a centre for kayaking and white water rafting on the River Inn. We saw quite a few rafters in action today riding the rapids.
