Day 55: Hinterberg to Graz

Saturday May 28, 2005, 95 km (59 miles) – Total so far: 3,437 km (2,136 miles)

It was even hotter today for the ride down to Graz. I say ‘down’ because we were told that it’s all downhill on the Murradweg to Graz (the Murradweg is the cycle path that runs along the banks of the River Mur), but it was actually pretty hilly.

Leoben was staging a pro bike race of some sort today, it was a shame that we didn’t have the time to stick around and watch it.

Our campsite at Graz is excellent, good facilities, and free use of what has to be one of the biggest swimming pools in the world. It looks like a lake.
