Day 197: Arcos de la Frontera –to Sevilla

Monday October 17, 2005, 104 km (65 miles) – Total so far: 12,183 km (7,570 miles)

The morning began with light rain that became steadily heavier all day. We dried out a little in a bar for lunch (cheese and ham sandwiches) before heading back into the storm for our afternoon ride to Seville.

It had actually stopped raining by the time we reached Seville and checked into our small hostel, and we were able to watch news reports about the flooding on TV.

We’re booked in for two nights so we have tomorrow to really explore the city.
