Day 144: Genova to Laiguéglia

Thursday August 25, 2005, 93 km (58 miles) – Total so far: 8,885 km (5,521 miles)

It felt like November this morning, very dark oppressive cloud and a few spots of rain as we packed up the tent. This is a great bit of coastline with some lovely little villages, there’s the odd exception of course, the giant dockyard in Savona wasn’t too pleasant.

Laiguéglia looks like a nice place, our campsite is fairly near the centre on terraces under olive trees.

We popped into another Olmo cycle shop to replace the Adidas shorts I’ve worn almost every day since I bought them in Straubing, Germany. Agata picked up a great jersey from the bargain bin.
